Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the SkyRecon website at skyrecon.net ("the Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Site. SkyRecon LLC ("SkyRecon", "we", "us") is a Delaware-registered company.
Use of the Site
The Site provides information about SkyRecon products, aviation safety content, and the ability to preorder devices. You may use the Site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:
- Interfere with or disrupt the Site's operation
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site
- Submit false or misleading information through our forms
- Use the Site to send spam or unsolicited communications
Preorders
Preorders for SkyRecon devices are subject to the following terms:
- A non-refundable deposit of €100 is required to reserve a unit.
- The deposit is deducted from the final retail price at the time of shipment.
- Preorder holders are notified in sequence when their unit is ready to ship.
- Shipping details can be updated up to one month before dispatch.
- SkyRecon reserves the right to modify pricing, specifications, or shipping timelines. In the event of significant changes, preorder holders will be notified and may be offered the option to cancel.
Preorder payments are processed securely by Stripe. SkyRecon does not store your payment card details.
Product Disclaimers
SkyRecon devices are portable, non-certified traffic awareness aids intended to supplement — not replace — certified avionics, ATC services, and a pilot's own see-and-avoid responsibilities.
- ADS-B traffic: SkyRecon displays traffic based on available ADS-B and supplemental data sources. It does not guarantee detection of all aircraft or obstacles.
- CO sensor: SkyRecon's built-in CO sensor is not a certified CO detector and should not be relied upon as a primary safety device. Always carry a certified CO detector as your primary CO protection and follow standard aviation safety procedures.
- Proximity advisory: SkyRecon's proximity advisory feature is informational only and is not a collision avoidance system.
Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including text, images, graphics, logos, and software — is the property of SkyRecon LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without our written permission.
Blog Content
The articles and information on our blog are provided for educational and informational purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, blog content does not constitute professional aviation advice. Always consult official aviation authorities, certified instructors, and applicable regulations for decisions affecting flight safety.

The Site may contain links to third-party websites (including SafeSky, ForeFlight, SkyDemon, and others). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of these external sites.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SkyRecon LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site, our products, or any information provided on the Site. This includes, but is not limited to, damages arising from reliance on product information, blog content, or traffic/CO data displayed by SkyRecon devices.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
